In this online course, the learner will be introduced to topics about the safe operation of aerial lifts, such as pre-operational equipment and worksite inspection, operator controls and safe work practices, battery safety and personal protection equipment. The course offers explanations of hazards such as electrical hazards, tip-over hazards, and fall hazards, as well as the procedures for dealing with those hazards. Learners will also be provided with a general overview of fall protection methods, including the use of a personal fall arrest system (PFAS).
