OPITO OERTM (4500)

The OERTM (Offshore Emergency Response Team Member) course is especially for offshore personnel that is part of the Offshore Emergency Response Team. The Offshore Emergency Response Team is active in case of emergencies. The OERTM needs to be ready to act during an emergency, such as fire, gas leakage, or explosion, on an offshore installation or vessel. During the course, participants acquire all the knowledge that is necessary to be able to perform the tasks of an OERTM effectively.

More information about the OERTM course

The OPITO Offshore Emergency Response Team Member course consists of theoretical and practical sessions. The theory discussed will be practices in real life situational practices. The course may include physically demanding and potentially stressful elements. Therefore it might be necessary to undertake some form of medical or fitness screening before participating in the course.

The OPITO OERTM certificate is valid for 2 years. To extend the validity of this certificate the delegate needs to do an OPITO OERTM-F course to refresh their knowledge.
