The GWO Basic Safety Training Refresher (onshore) is the refresher course of the GWO Basic Safety Training (onshore). This course is meant for people who work in the onshore wind industry and are dealing with several risks and dangers. During the refresher course the memory of the delegates will be refreshed again and they will learn how to cope with the risks and dangers that could appear.

During the GWO Basic Safety Training Refresher onshore the delegates learn several skills, like providing First Aid and dealing with fires. By practicing and repeating several emergency situations delegates will be trained in a way that’s as realistic as possible and will be prepared for their work in the onshore wind industry.

Just like the GWO Basic Safety Training this course also consists of 4 modules: GWO Working at Height Refresher, GWO Fire Awareness Refresher, GWO First Aid Refresher and GWO Manual Handling Refresher. These modules could also be taken separately. Each module consists of a theoretical part and a practical part.

The course content is as follows:

• Working at height
• First Aid
• Manual Handling
• Fire Awareness

This is the onshore version of the GWO Basic Safety Training. That’s why the module GWO Sea Survival will not be covered during this course.
