This GWO BTT Electrical Module will give you the knowledge and skills to carry out basic electrical tasks (supervised by an experienced technician), using safe working procedures and the correct PPE. You will learn an overview of electrical systems, the principle workings of wind turbines, and associated safety principles. This module is targeted at those who have no previous experience of hydraulic, mechanical, or electrical systems, and may also be used to up skill those with existing knowledge but not of its application in wind turbines. This course is relevant for those working both on and offshore in wind energy operations.

- Requirements:No prerequisites, but some practical electrical or mechanical maintenance background is useful.Medically fit and capable of fully participating. Should have or create a personal delegate profile in WINDA and provide own WINDA ID. Should be able to read and write documentation /instructions, and it is an advantage to be able to read, speak and write English.
