This course makes sure that everyone working offshore has basic knowledge about safety in an offshore working environment. This knowledge will keep delegates safe in their daily activities offshore.

Before starting the course, participants can do a pre-assessment to check their existing knowledge. Afterwards, the course will be restructured so that it contains the information needed to fill the knowledge gaps. After completing the 9 modules of the online course, there will be a small tasks that participants need to pass.

The OPITO IMIST course certificate is valid for 4 years. After those 4 years the IMIST course can be taken again to refresh the knowledge about the discussed modules.
