Are you our new HR Business Partner?

As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic HR policy that supports our business objectives and enables our employees to reach their full potential. This is a new role for the organization, where HR policies and processes are still in their infancy.

Who are we?
FMTC is the safety training center for Offshore training (OPITO & NOGEPA), Wind training (GWO), Maritime training (STCW), and Industry training. Every day, we prepare people to work and live safely on a drilling platform or a ship.

In addition to safety, flexibility is our top priority, and we are here for our customers. We fully support our customers in the area of training.

FMTC operates globally and has multiple locations in the Netherlands and France, a location in the USA, Saudi Arabia, and recently in Belgium.

Objectives and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic HR policy that aligns with FMTC Safety’s business objectives and growth plans.
  • Establish procedures and policies related to HR issues.
  • Map out HR processes (e.g., onboarding and offboarding of new employees, compensation process, etc.).
  • Advise and support managers on HR issues, serving as the first point of contact for employees.
  • Assist in the recruitment and selection process.
  • Manage performance evaluations and establish reward and recognition systems.
  • Contribute to the development and rollout of the FMTC Safety Academy.
  • Identify and address HR challenges and provide solutions.
  • Analyze business data and trends to identify HR needs and opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Report directly to the CEO, Michel Hogervorst.

Who are you?

  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in a similar role, having been exposed to all aspects of the HR field.
  • HR Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of HR processes, policies, and procedures to apply data analysis in the HR field successfully, implementing best practices at FMTC.
  • Organizational and project management skills: Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Adaptability to change: Comfortable with change, flexible, and adaptable to new initiatives.
  • Teamwork and collaboration: Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Communication skills: Strong communication skills to effectively present HR data to various stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze complex HR issues and come up with creative solutions.
