FMTC now also offers GWO training in Germany01 February 2019
Every year, large numbers of participants from the Netherlands and abroad use the certified safety training that FMTC offers. Due to increasing demand from Germany, we have decided to open an FMTC location on the German North Sea coast. Since the beginning of 2019 we are active in the vicinity of the port city of Bremerhaven. At this location we offer the GWO wind training.
GWO training Bremerhaven
The main goal of the Global Wind Organization (GWO) is to increase safety for onshore and offshore personnel in the wind industry. In order to realize that goal, GWO has developed certified quality training, for which FMTC has accreditations. In this way, we introduce participants to the risks and dangers of working in the wind industry with the aid of set modules. Of course, our certified FMTC instructors are people with practical experience who know how to communicate the curriculum with excitement. And so we have been doing this from Bremerhaven since the beginning of this year.
The GWO training courses at our location Bremerhaven are given in German.
Training components GWO
The GWO Basic Safety Training consists of 5 modules:
After successful completion of all theoretical and practical components, the participant receives a WINDA registration with a validity of 2 years. To extend this certificate, delegates must participate in the GWO Refresher. In this way they remain well informed of the latest developments, tools and methods.
