The Hazard Awareness and Identification e-learning course introduces the principles of recognising workplace hazards and applying basic risk control measures. This online training is designed to support safer working practices by helping personnel identify hazards, assess risks, and report unsafe conditions effectively.

This course provides an introduction to hazard identification and risk awareness in industrial workplaces. Participants will learn the difference between hazards and risks, recognise common workplace hazards, and understand the importance of proactive safety behaviours. The training also covers task-based risk assessment methods, hazard reporting practices, hierarchy of controls, and communication within teams. The course is suitable for personnel working in operational and high-risk environments where hazard awareness and effective reporting are essential for maintaining workplace safety standards.

There are no formal prerequisites. The course is designed for all employees. Basic computer skills and access to a device with an internet connection are required.
