Cyber security in the workplace

This Cybersecurity Awareness for the Workplace course provides a practical and structured introduction to cybersecurity risks and responsibilities within an organizational context. It is designed for employees at all levels who interact with digital systems, handle data, or contribute to daily business operations.

The training explains how cybersecurity incidents can impact operations, finances, and reputation, and highlights how individual actions play a critical role in preventing such incidents. Participants are introduced to common cyber threats, including phishing, ransomware, malware, and social engineering, with a focus on how these threats exploit human behavior.

The course also covers secure working practices, including password management, device security, safe use of networks, and data protection principles. Special attention is given to identifying sensitive information and handling it appropriately in line with organizational expectations.
