STCW Proficiency in Fast Rescue from now at FMTC11 April 2016
At present, the FMTC is certified for the STCW Proficiency in Fast Rescue training. The training will take place every first Monday of the month.
STCW Proficiency in Fast Rescue
The 3 day training STCW Proficiency in Fast Rescue Boats is suitable for everyone who has been appointed as a crew member of a Fast Rescue Boat on a ship. During the training STCW Proficiency in Fast Rescue Boats, the trainee learns assess the state of readiness and use of the Fast Rescue Boats. Furthermore, the trainee learns how to deal with drowning people and he will practise various search patterns. After the training STCW Proficiency in Fast Rescue Boats, the trainee is able to handle the Fast Rescue and provide leadership during the launch and operation of the Fast Rescue Boat.
The practical part of the STCW Proficiency Fast Rescue is practiced in the marina of IJmuiden and at sea. During the practical part, navigation of the Fast Rescue s rehearsed. The transport from FMTC Schiphol to IJmuiden and back will be arranged by FMTC.
