CAA Offshore Radio Operators Certificate of Competence (ROCC)
The CAA Offshore Radio Operators Certificate of Competence (ROCC) training is required for everyone that is operating a radio in the offshore oil and gas industry. Delegates gain the required knowledge and skills to communicate with helicopters on an offshore helideck and to operate a radio according to the standards of the Civil Aviation Authority. This certificate is required when you need to do the OPITO HERTL training and are going to work in UK waters.
Dangerous Goods Awareness
During the Dangerous Goods Awareness training employees of the onshore and offshore industry learn the risks of harmful materials in order to use them safely and responsibly. Awareness of these dangerous goods is increased and participants learn how to comply with the laws and regulations that minimise potential damage and risks. This course is required before delegates can take part in the OPITO HOIT course. Soon we will also offer this course as E-learning module. You can then do the theoretical part at your own pace at home. This way you will save time and money!
