Our NOGEPA 1.9A Banksman training is designed for all personnel involved in lifting operations on offshore platforms, ships, and petrochemical installations. This practical course is essential for those assigned to hoisting activities on mining installations, ensuring that every participant can collaborate safely and efficiently with crane operators during lifting tasks. The training focuses on developing the knowledge and skills required to perform lifting activities responsibly, with a strong emphasis on safety and effective teamwork.
Upon successful completion of the NOGEPA 1.9A Banksman training at our FMTC Safety center, delegates will be able to assist in lifting operations in a safe, responsible, and efficient manner, always working in cooperation and under the supervision of the crane operator. The NOGEPA 1.9A certificate is valid for four years. Before the certificate expires, participants can progress to the NOGEPA 1.9B Banksman course, with a three-month window for renewal. Please note that dispensation is not available for the NOGEPA 1.9A course and only applies to the NOGEPA 1.9B course.
To join the training, delegates must bring a valid government-issued photographic identification and, if available, a personal safety logbook. A valid medical offshore certificate is also required. Please be aware that on-site payment in IJmuiden is not possible, and invoices should be settled online using the payment link provided in the invoice email.
