FMTC M&A Opening in Houston on March 31

The launch is getting closer: at the end of March, FMTC M&A will open a new training facility in Houston, TX. With this expansion, we strengthen our position in the North American market and provide customers with an additional, strategically located training center.

A Training Center in a Prime Location

The new facility is just minutes from George Bush Intercontinental Airport, on Houston’s north side, at Hardy Toll Rd and FM 1960 E. Covering 20,000 square feet, FMTC M&A is fully equipped for hands-on safety training, including:

• HUET and sea survival pools for realistic offshore emergency scenarios
• Rigging training for safe working at heights and in heavy industries
• Firefighting and confined space training for high-risk work environments
• GWO, OPITO, API courses for international certification
• ADC Rig Pass
• HSI First Aid/CPR
• H2S/Respiratory Protection
• Fall Protection User/Rescue!

Extensive GWO Training Opportunities

With the opening of our Houston location, we are also expanding our range of Global Wind Organisation (GWO) training courses. This means that professionals in the wind industry can obtain key certifications, including:

• GWO Basic Safety Training (BST) – covering working at heights, first aid, firefighting, and sea survival
• GWO Advanced Rescue Training (ART) – specialized rescue scenarios for wind turbines
• GWO Enhanced First Aid (EFA) – advanced first aid skills for challenging work environments

These courses are essential for anyone working in the wind energy sector, both onshore and offshore. Thanks to our flexible scheduling and high-quality facilities, trainees can obtain their certifications efficiently and with a strong focus on practical skills.
