Our NOGEPA 0.8 H2S training is designed for employees who may encounter hydrogen sulphide (H2S) in their work environment, particularly within the petroleum and gas industry. This compulsory course is also highly relevant for professionals working in sectors such as sewer systems, wastewater treatment, fertilizer production, and waste management, where H2S exposure is a recognized risk. The training focuses on raising awareness about the dangers and risks associated with hydrogen sulphide and provides practical instruction on the correct actions to take in the event of an H2S incident.
Participants will learn about the characteristics of H2S, relevant laws and regulations, and the proper use of personal protective equipment. The course also covers the operation and limitations of detectors and alarms, as well as evacuation procedures and first aid measures for H2S exposure. To attend the training, participants must bring valid government-issued photographic identification.
For those working internationally in the offshore sector, we also offer the OPITO H2S course, which is recognized worldwide. It is possible to obtain both NOGEPA and OPITO certification by booking the OPITO H2S course.
