This essential training ensures participants are fully prepared to meet the latest OPITO standards, focusing on safety induction, emergency response, and the use of the Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CA-EBS). The course replaces the previous EBS module with the CA-EBS module, ensuring compliance with updated industry requirements.
During the OPITO BOSIET with CA-EBS (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training with Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System), participants gain the knowledge and practical skills needed to respond effectively to offshore emergencies. The training covers a wide range of safety topics, including helicopter travel procedures, sea survival, firefighting, self-rescue, and emergency first aid. Special emphasis is placed on helicopter safety and the correct use of the CA-EBS, both in dry and shallow water conditions, to prepare for potential helicopter ditching scenarios.
Our training is suitable for anyone who will be supplied with a CA-EBS during offshore helicopter travel and is required to meet the initial offshore safety and emergency response training standards. All modules are delivered by experienced instructors in realistic training environments, ensuring participants leave with the confidence and competence to work safely offshore.
