The NOGEPA 2.10A Calamity Control course is designed specifically for Offshore Installation Managers who are responsible for small crews on offshore installations. This training prepares participants to effectively manage major incidents on board, especially in situations where a fully equipped and trained fire-fighting and rescue team is not available due to the limited size of the installation and crew. Over the course of two days, delegates engage in practical scenarios that simulate real-life emergencies, ensuring they are well equipped to oversee offshore fire-fighting and rescue actions.
Our training focuses on developing the knowledge and skills necessary to lead a well-trained emergency organization, assess situations accurately, and take effective action during calamities. Communication, stress management, and the ability to lead exercises are also key components of the course. Upon successful completion of the NOGEPA 2.10A Calamity Control, delegates receive a certificate that is valid for four years. To maintain certification, participants must complete the NOGEPA 2.10B Calamity Control refresher course before the expiration date.
This course is essential for those tasked with managing emergencies on offshore installations with limited resources, ensuring that safety and effective response remain a top priority at all times.
