Our GWO Basic Safety Training Refresher (onshore) is designed for professionals working in the onshore wind industry who need to renew their safety certification every two years. This refresher course ensures that delegates remain confident and competent in handling the various risks and hazards encountered in their daily work environment. Throughout the training, participants revisit essential safety skills, including First Aid and fire response, by practicing realistic emergency scenarios that prepare them for real-life incidents.
The GWO Basic Safety Training Refresher (onshore) consists of four key modules: GWO Working at Height Refresher, GWO Fire Awareness Refresher, GWO First Aid Refresher and GWO Manual Handling Refresher. Each module includes both theoretical and practical elements, allowing delegates to refresh their knowledge and skills in a hands-on environment. These modules can also be taken separately if required.
This course is specifically tailored for onshore wind professionals and does not include the Sea Survival module, which is part of the offshore version. Upon successful completion, delegates receive a renewed GWO Basic Safety Training (onshore) certificate, which remains valid for two years. Regular participation in this refresher is essential to maintain compliance and ensure ongoing safety in the workplace.
