This training is intended for personnel who work in the wind industry, or in related sectors, and who carry out duties in a wind turbine environment. It is designed for those who need to renew their GWO Basic Safety Training modules.
With the GWO Basic Safety Training Refresher – Scenario Based Training Onshore, enabling participants to refresh their Basic Safety Training modules through realistic scenario-based training instead of standard refresher training. During these scenarios, all learning objectives of the GWO Basic Safety Training Onshore modules are covered. This approach allows participants to review and further develop previously acquired knowledge and skills through a combination of theoretical and practical training delivered in several realistic scenarios.
The course consists of 4 modules, and the listed price is per module. All modules must be completed within 2 years. Our Customer Support team will contact you to schedule all modules, ensuring the full process is arranged smoothly and that you are completely taken care of.
Valid Basic Safety Training (refresher) moduls certificates
Twice a year, participants visit the training centre to take part in a scenario training day. During each training day, different elements from multiple BST modules are refreshed. These scenario days are focused on applying practical skills and competencies in realistic situations. To prepare participants, the instructor begins with a toolbox session to assess their current knowledge level and explain how the training equipment will be used.
Because of the scenario-based format, planning is much easier. Instead of employees being absent for a full week of intensive refresher training, they only need to attend the training centre once every six months. This approach is also more effective, as regular training sessions help participants maintain the required level of knowledge, skills, and competency over time. Scenario training offers exactly this advantage.
After 24 months, and upon successful completion of the four scenario training days, four of the five BST certificates will be renewed.
