Our Basic Emergency Response course prepares employees to act effectively as certified Emergency Response Officers, in line with the requirements set by Labour Law. Every company is obligated to take the necessary precautions for emergency preparedness, and part of this responsibility includes ensuring staff are trained to deal with and prevent possible incidents in the workplace. This two-day course equips participants with both theoretical and practical knowledge to fulfill the role of an Emergency Response Officer with confidence.
The training takes place at our Amsterdam location on the grounds of the Amsterdam Fire Department. This unique setting allows us to realistically simulate emergencies, including unexpected scenarios that strengthen knowledge retention. The combination of classroom instruction and practical exercises ensures that participants not only understand the principles of emergency response but also experience how to apply them in practice. This approach makes the learning process both highly effective and memorable.
The Basic Emergency Response course is suitable for all employees who want to become certified Emergency Response Officers and contribute to a safer workplace by being prepared for medical incidents, fire hazards, and evacuation procedures.
Internationally referred to as Basic First Aid, this training is also known in Dutch as “BHV Basis” It is the foundation for employees who need to be prepared to provide immediate assistance in case of accidents or medical emergencies in the workplace.
