Basic Emergency Response Refresher

In line with Labour Law, every company must take the necessary precautions by appointing and training Emergency Response Officers. The Basic Emergency Response Refresher is a one-day course for employees who have already completed the Basic Emergency Response training and need to renew their certification. This refresher ensures that participants maintain the required knowledge and skills to deal with and prevent incidents in the workplace, allowing them to continue functioning as certified Emergency Response Officers.

The refresher training must be renewed every year to keep the certificate valid. By combining updated theoretical knowledge with practical exercises at our Amsterdam location, situated on the grounds of the Amsterdam Fire Department, participants are trained in realistic settings. Simulating unexpected scenarios not only strengthens knowledge retention but also makes the experience highly effective and memorable.

Internationally referred to as the Basic Emergency Response Refresher, this training is also known in Dutch as the refresher of “BHV Basis”. It is required for employees who already hold a valid certificate and need to renew their qualification each year to continue functioning as Emergency Response Officers.
