GWO Enhanced First Aid

The GWO Enhanced First Aid course (Global Wind Organization) is for personal who will be working in the wind industry. This 3 day course is a combination of the GWO First Aid en GWO Enhanced First Aid.

Training in accordance with the Enhanced First Aid Standard will enable participants to support and care for others working in the industry by possessing the knowledge, skills, and ability of enhanced first aid. Upon completion of the GWO EFA training, participants will be able to administer safe, effective, and immediate lifesaving and enhanced first aid measures to save lives and give assistance in remote areas using advanced emergency equipment and medical teleconsultation.

The GWO Enhanced First Aid is a combination of basic first aid and advanced first aid techniques. For this reason, after completing the training you will receive both GWO First Aid and a GWO Enhanced First Aid certificate.

GWO First Aid
With the help of the GWO First Aid course, the delegate will specifically learn what kind of injuries they might sustain and how they can provide themselves and colleagues with first aid. Knowing the functions of the human body is essential and can possibly save lives. During this GWO First Aid course, we will focus on limited access and entrances and exits in a wind turbine.

GWO Enhanced First Aid
GWO Enhanced First Aid gives delegates additional knowledge and skills to administer safe, effective and immediate lifesaving and enhanced first aid measures to save life and give assistance in more remote areas. Delegates will learn to use advanced emergency equipment and medical telecommunication to provide lifesaving first aid over a period of time while waiting for professional emergency rescue teams to arrive.
