Our NOGEPA 1.9B Banksman training is designed as a refresher course for experienced Banksmen who need to extend the validity of their NOGEPA 1.9A or 1.9B Banksman certificate. This practice-oriented course is tailored for operational staff involved in lifting activities on board ships, oil platforms, and petrochemical installations. The training ensures participants remain up to date with the essential knowledge and skills required to safely, responsibly, and efficiently perform lifting operations in cooperation with crane operators.
The NOGEPA 1.9B Banksman course is mandatory for those whose NOGEPA 1.9A or 1.9B certificate is about to expire. It revisits the most important theoretical and practical aspects of the NOGEPA 1.9A Banksman basic training, focusing on safe lifting procedures, communication, and risk awareness. If you do not have experience as a Banksman or do not hold a valid NOGEPA 1.9 (A or B) certificate, you are required to first complete the NOGEPA 1.9A Banksman basic training.
Participants must bring a valid government-issued photographic ID, their personal safety logbook if available, a valid medical offshore certificate, and a valid NOGEPA 1.9A or 1.9B certificate to the training center. Please note that payment on-site in IJmuiden is not possible, and invoices should be settled online using the payment link provided in the invoice email.
