Our Supervisor Training is designed to equip delegates with the essential leadership skills and knowledge needed to effectively manage safety and environmental responsibilities in the workplace. This comprehensive course focuses on the critical aspects of supervisory roles, ensuring participants are prepared to handle the complexities of safety and environmental management systems. Through practical instruction and real-world examples, delegates will gain a deeper understanding of their responsibilities and the impact of effective supervision on workplace safety.
Throughout the Supervisor Training, participants will explore the requirements associated with Safety and Environmental Management Systems (SEMS II), learn the importance of Management of Change, and develop hazard recognition techniques. The course also covers the process of writing a Job Safety Analysis (JSA), the application of Stop Work Authority, and the supervisor’s role in managing substance abuse issues. Additionally, incident investigation concepts and techniques are reviewed, ensuring supervisors are well-prepared to respond to workplace incidents. Delegates will be assessed through a written examination to demonstrate their understanding of the course material.
