GWO Fire Awareness (E-learning + Practical) French

The GWO Fire Awareness (E-learning + Practical) course is specifically designed for professionals working in the wind industry who need to understand the risks and appropriate responses to fire incidents within wind turbine environments. This blended learning course, developed in accordance with the Global Wind Organisation (GWO) standards, equips participants with essential knowledge and practical skills to prevent, identify, and respond effectively to fire hazards. The course structure allows delegates to complete the theoretical component online at their own pace, followed by a concise practical session at the training center that lasts just 1.5 hours, making it a highly efficient option compared to traditional half-day sessions.

During the online portion of the GWO Fire Awareness (E-learning + Practical) course, participants learn about the development and spread of fire, causes and risks specific to wind turbines, and the correct emergency procedures. The practical session focuses on hands-on experience, such as using fire extinguishers, understanding fire detection systems, and practicing emergency escape procedures. This blended approach offers flexibility, reduces classroom time, and ensures participants gain both theoretical knowledge and practical competence.

Upon successful completion, delegates receive a GWO Fire Awareness certification that is typically valid for two years. The course is suitable for all personnel working in the wind energy sector, both onshore and offshore.
