Our NOGEPA 2.7B C Coxswain Lifeboat training is designed as a refresher course for those who have previously completed the NOGEPA 2.7A C Coxswain Lifeboat certification. This intensive one-day program focuses on updating and reinforcing essential skills for launching and handling both conventional lifeboats and capsules. The training ensures that delegates maintain the necessary competencies to act effectively as a coxswain in offshore emergency situations.
To enroll, delegates must possess a valid offshore medical certificate and a current NOGEPA 2.7A C certificate. Our training is structured to meet the latest industry standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring that all participants are fully prepared for their responsibilities offshore.
The NOGEPA refresher window is two months. This means delegates may complete their refresher course up to two months before the certificate’s expiry date while retaining the original expiration date. If a delegate attends earlier than this two-month window, the new certificate will be issued based on the course completion date.
As part of the training takes place in open water, we recommend bringing an extra set of dry clothing. Towels are provided, though you are welcome to bring your own if preferred.
