The NOGEPA 2.10B Calamity Control course is designed as a refresher for those who have previously completed the NOGEPA 2.10A Calamity Control training. This specialized course is essential for Offshore Installation Managers (OIMs) who are responsible for small crews on offshore installations, where a fully equipped firefighting and rescue team is often not available. The training ensures that OIMs are prepared to handle a wide range of emergency situations and calamities on board, maintaining a high standard of safety and leadership in challenging environments. For more information about the initial training, see the NOGEPA 2.10A Calamity Control course.
Our NOGEPA 2.10B Calamity Control refresher course must be completed every four years. Participants are allowed to refresh their certificate within a period of three months before the expiry date of the current certificate. This ensures that all participants remain up to date with the latest emergency response procedures and leadership techniques. The course is specifically tailored to refresh the memory and skills of those in charge, focusing on effective action, communication, and stress management during emergencies. There are no additional prerequisites or medical requirements mentioned beyond the need for a valid NOGEPA 2.10A certificate.
