Our OPITO OERTM (4500) course is designed specifically for offshore personnel who are part of an Offshore Emergency Response Team. This training prepares participants to respond effectively in emergency situations such as fires, gas leaks, or explosions on offshore installations or vessels. Through a combination of theoretical instruction and practical exercises, participants gain the essential knowledge and skills required to fulfill the responsibilities of an Offshore Emergency Response Team Member.
The course includes both classroom-based learning and hands-on training, with real-life scenario practice to ensure participants are ready for the demands of emergency response. Due to the physically demanding and potentially stressful nature of the training, a medical or fitness screening may be required before participation. Upon successful completion, delegates receive the OPITO OERTM certificate, which is valid for two years. To maintain certification, delegates must complete the OPITO OERTM-F refresher course before the certificate expires.
Our training covers all necessary aspects to ensure team members are fully prepared to act swiftly and efficiently during offshore emergencies. The OPITO OERTM (4500) course is essential for anyone assigned to emergency response duties in offshore environments.
