Our NOGEPA 2.6B Member Fire-Fighting course is designed as a refresher for those who have previously completed the NOGEPA 2.6A Basic Member Fire Fighting training. This course is essential for employees who are designated to participate in fire-fighting or rescue teams on offshore mining installations. Over two days, participants will revisit both the theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary to respond effectively to fire and emergency situations offshore.
The NOGEPA 2.6B Member Fire-Fighting course ensures that delegates remain confident and competent in their roles within fire-fighting and rescue crews. The training covers the latest procedures and techniques, allowing participants to refresh their memory and maintain the high standards required for offshore safety. Upon successful completion, certification is valid for two years. The course requires a minimum of four delegates to run.
Participants will engage in both classroom learning and hands-on exercises, focusing on the use of breathing apparatus, communication methods, and safe rescue operations. This refresher is vital for maintaining compliance with offshore safety regulations and ensuring the readiness of all team members in emergency scenarios.
