Our GWO Working at Heights Refresher course is designed for personnel working in the wind industry who need to renew their certification for working safely at heights. This training provides participants with the essential knowledge and practical skills required to operate safely in wind turbine environments, focusing on the use of personal protective equipment and safe work practices. The course is compliant with the BST Working at Height Module, ensuring that participants are prepared to handle emergency situations and perform basic rescue operations from heights.
The GWO Working at Heights Refresher is typically valid for two years, but it is important to note that some projects, particularly those in Germany, may require annual refresher training. This ensures that all personnel remain up to date with the latest safety standards and procedures. The course is suitable for both new and experienced employees who need to maintain their qualifications for working at height in the wind energy sector.
Participants will gain hands-on experience with the correct use of PPE, learn about relevant legislation, and develop the skills necessary to respond effectively in emergency situations. Our training is aimed at promoting a culture of safety and preparedness for anyone working at height in wind turbines.
GWO does not offer any dispensation. Without a valid certificate, participants are not eligible to attend refresher courses and must complete GWO Working at Heights.
