Our Basic First Aid course provides participants with the knowledge and skills required to obtain the official Diploma First Aid Unit of the Oranje Kruis. Compared to a standard company emergency response course, this training is more comprehensive as it allows more time for in-depth instruction and practical exercises. Participants learn how to provide effective assistance in a wide range of medical emergencies, supported by both theoretical knowledge and hands-on training.
This three-day course combines classroom theory with extensive practical exercises, including the use of lotus victims for realistic practice scenarios. Upon successful completion, the certification is valid for three years, after which it must be renewed through the Basic First Aid refresher course. The training is fully aligned with the guidelines of the Oranje Kruis, ensuring participants are educated to recognized national standards.
The Basic First Aid course is suitable for individuals and staff who require a higher level of first aid knowledge than standard emergency response training provides. With a strong focus on real-life scenarios, participants develop confidence to respond quickly and effectively in emergencies both at the workplace and beyond.
Internationally referred to as Basic First Aid, this training is also known in Dutch as “EHBO Basis”. It is the standard entry-level course for employees and individuals who need to be prepared to provide immediate first aid in case of accidents or medical emergencies at work or in daily life.
