Who are we?

FMTC Safety is the safety training center for Offshore training (OPITO & NOGEPA), Wind training (GWO), Maritime training (STCW) and Industry training. Every day people are being prepared to work and live safely on a drilling platform, windmill or ship.

In addition to safety, flexibility is our top priority and we are there for our customer. We completely unburden the customer in the field of training. We do this through our customer-oriented services; flexibility, knowledge and extra services in addition to our training courses.

In addition to our Dutch locations at Schiphol Amsterdam and Dordrecht, we also have various locations worldwide; Houma (USA), Dunkirk (FR) and Ras Tanura (KSA).

What do we expect from you?

You start receiving our students every day at 7 a.m. Here you are the calling card of FMTC! In addition, you also perform various other tasks for these students and the location manager; create and print certificates, make payments, etc. Furthermore, you are the mainstay of our team. You support the management and other staff members with all kinds of varying tasks and we will call on your organizational talent.

All in all, a very varied job, where your initiative is rewarded and no day will be the same. We are looking for an employee for a minimum of 25 hours per week. Every variant of this is also possible and negotiable. It is important that you speak fluent English. The work location is our office in Dordrecht. Your responsibilities and duties are as follows:

  • Receiving customers and visitors
  • Administrative tasks for the Dordrecht branch
  • Preparing meetings and processing the actions.
  • Handling business correspondence.
  • Planning and organizing trips
  • Picking up incidental matters; writing texts for the website, arranging equipment for a new-to-open branch, etc.

  • You are very independent and assertive
  • You are a ‘regulator’, like versatile work and not afraid of a challenge
  • You have extensive experience as an executive secretary
  • You speak at least 1 foreign language.
  • Affinity and experience with our business and/or end customers is a plus
