The NOGEPA 1.1B Helicopter Landing Officer / 2.8B Leader Fire-Fighting (Combi) course is an essential refresher for offshore professionals who have previously completed the initial NOGEPA 1.1A HLO and 2.8A Leader Fire-Fighting training. This 2.5-day combination course is specifically designed to update and reinforce the knowledge and skills required to safely manage helicopter operations and lead firefighting teams on offshore installations. After successful completion, the certification remains valid for two years, ensuring participants remain compliant with industry standards.
Our training focuses on both the practical and theoretical aspects of helicopter operations and emergency response. Participants will revisit crucial procedures for normal and emergency situations, gaining hands-on experience in managing offshore calamities and leading firefighting and rescue teams. To enroll in the NOGEPA 1.1B / 2.8B combination, candidates must present valid government-issued photographic identification, a valid offshore medical certificate, and current NOGEPA 1.1A or 1.1B and 2.8A or 2.8B certificates. For those holding NOGEPA certificates, the refresher can be attended within a three-month window before expiry, maintaining the original expiry date.
