Our NOGEPA 1.1B Helicopter Landing Officer / 2.6B Basic Member Fire-Fighting (Combi) course is designed for offshore professionals who need to refresh their skills and certification in both helicopter operations and fire-fighting on offshore installations. This combination training brings together the refresher modules for NOGEPA 1.1A HLO and NOGEPA 2.6A Leader Fire-Fighting, ensuring that participants remain up to date with the latest safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
The course takes place over three days and covers both practical and theoretical aspects of helicopter landing officer duties and basic member fire-fighting responsibilities. Upon successful completion, participants receive certification that is valid for two years. This training is essential for those working on offshore installations, where the ability to respond effectively to both routine and emergency situations is critical.
To enroll in the NOGEPA 1.1B / 2.6B HLO / Member combi course, participants must bring a valid government-issued photographic ID, a valid offshore medical certificate, an additional medical certificate for wearing breathing apparatus, and a valid NOGEPA 1.1A or 1.1B certificate. The refresher course can be taken within three months before the expiry date of the current certificate, allowing participants to maintain the same expiry date.
