This programme is aimed at professionals working in maritime industries, emergency responders and search and rescue personnel, logistics managers and supply chain professionals, and individuals interested in pursuing a career in drone operations within the maritime sector.

The Maritime Drone Operator (MDO) programme is accredited by Highfields Awarding Body for Compliance. Please be aware: this qualification is not regulated by Ofqual, Qualifications Wales, CCEA or SQA.

• Must be at least 18 years old • Basic understanding of UAV technology • Prior experience or knowledge in maritime operations and/or aviation principles • Physically fit • Government-issued identification required • Remote pilot licence (optional)
