Delegates are expected to arrive 15 minutes before the course start time, as indicated in the booking confirmation. Late arrivals may be required to make up missed time, which could result in additional charges. Please bring your Personal Safety Logbook and/or Seaman’s Book for updates upon successful course completion.
For certain courses, such as those involving breathing apparatus or underwater exercises, a valid medical certificate is mandatory and will be checked upon arrival. The correct medical certificate is indicated on the booking confirmation under pre-requisites.
For Digital BOSIET courses, delegates must provide the following details during booking:
A personal e-learning access link will be sent via Atlas Knowledge. The e-learning module must be fully completed prior to the practical assessment date.

Delegates completing OPITO-approved courses will receive a valid OPITO certificate and will be registered in the OPITO Vantage Central Register.
Delegates completing GWO courses must register in advance on the WINDA platform to ensure proper certification. Registration is available via: https://winda.globalwindsafety.org/register/delegate/
Certificates will be uploaded to your personal WINDA profile after course completion.
All required protective clothing, towels, and equipment will be provided by the training center depending on the training center location. Please refer to your booking confirmation for any specific items you may need to bring.
Courses may include physically demanding components. It is the employer’s responsibility to ensure delegates hold a valid medical examination certificate, where required. Delegates must also sign a medical fitness declaration form prior to participation. FMTC can arrange medical and offshore maritime examinations upon request.
Some courses require a medical examination not only for participation but also as a prerequisite for offshore deployment, depending on project and client requirements. Medicals can be booked directly during the course registration process, and we will schedule the exam as efficiently as possible in coordination with your training dates.
For CA-EBS in-water training, participants must:

If a delegate has special needs related to language, medical conditions, physical ability, religion, or culture, these must be indicated on the booking form. FMTC will take appropriate action to support these requests. If a translator is required, costs may apply and will be confirmed with the employer.
Courses are conducted in English. Delegates must be able to read and understand English. If not, an interpreter may be arranged at an additional cost.
Course fees are charged per participant per course and include:

FMTC can assist in booking hotel accommodation through our partner hotels, either during the booking process or via customer support. Transport from the hotel to the training center can also be arranged upon request and will be charged to the client.
FMTC reserves the right to cancel a training course in the event of force majeure. We offer a 24-hour cancellation policy to accommodate the unpredictable nature of the industry.
FMTC reserves the right to refuse participation if a delegate does not meet the course prerequisites, in consultation with the employer. All delegates must comply with the house rules during their time at the training center.
