The International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC) sets globally recognised standards for safety, operational excellence, and environmental stewardship in the drilling industry. Founded in 1940, IADC represents the interests of drilling contractors, oil and gas producers, and service companies worldwide, working to improve safety, training, and performance across the sector.
FMTC Safety currently offers the IADC Rig Pass, a programme designed to provide essential safety orientation for oil and gas industry workers. The Rig Pass, available in classroom, virtual and e-learning formats, covers fundamental safety topics to ensure all personnel meet industry safety standards before starting work on a rig or drilling site. Versions with the Basin United Fundamental Level are also available, offering additional region-specific knowledge.
As our IADC training portfolio expands, we aim to offer a wider range of IADC-accredited courses to support the professional development of workers in the drilling and well-servicing sectors.
