STCW BST & AFF & PSCRB & PFRB Initial stands for STCW Basic Safety Training, Advanced Fire Fighting, Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats, and Proficiency in Fast Rescue Boats. Our STCW BST & AFF & PSCRB & PFRB Initial course provides comprehensive maritime safety training for seafarers who require certification under the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW). This program is designed for all crew members with designated safety or pollution-prevention duties, as well as those responsible for leading firefighting operations and operating survival or fast rescue craft. The training is fully approved by the national flagstate and meets the latest STCW requirements, ensuring international recognition and compliance.

The STCW BST & AFF & PSCRB & PFRB Initial course covers four essential modules: Basic Safety Training (BST), Advanced Fire Fighting (AFF), Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats (PSCRB), and Proficiency in Fast Rescue Boats (PFRB). Each module is valid for five years and must be refreshed to maintain compliance. Participants will gain critical skills in personal survival, firefighting leadership, first aid, survival craft operation, and fast rescue boat handling. The training includes both theoretical and practical assessments, with certification issued upon successful completion.

To enroll, participants must bring a valid ID or passport, a medical certificate, swimming gear, and their seafarer’s book. The course is mandatory for all seafarers with safety responsibilities, officers leading fire teams, and crew assigned to survival or fast rescue boats. Refresher training is required every five years or if there has been a lapse in relevant onboard experience. Our program ensures that seafarers remain fully qualified and prepared for emergency situations at sea, in accordance with the latest STCW standards.
