Our NOGEPA 2.6B Member Fire-Fighting / 2.8B Leader Fire-Fighting and Rescue Team Offshore (Combi) course is designed as a comprehensive refresher for individuals who have previously completed the 2.6A Member Fire-Fighting / 2.8A Leader Fire-Fighting training. This course is essential for those designated as members or leaders of fire-fighting and rescue teams working on offshore mining installations. The training focuses on equipping participants with the necessary skills to operate effectively in emergency situations and to lead fire-fighting teams offshore.
The NOGEPA 2.6B / 2.8B combination course spans two full days and is structured to ensure participants are prepared for the unique challenges of offshore fire and rescue operations. Upon successful completion, participants receive a NOGEPA 2.6B and 2.8B certification, which remains valid for two years. This certification is a crucial requirement for offshore personnel assigned to emergency response roles, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Our training emphasizes both theoretical knowledge and practical application, allowing participants to gain hands-on experience in realistic scenarios. The course content is tailored to address the responsibilities of both team members and leaders, covering communication, task division, equipment maintenance, and the execution of fire-fighting and rescue operations, including incidents involving helicopters. This approach ensures that all participants are fully prepared to respond efficiently and safely to emergencies offshore.
