Our FMTC Preparation for CRO-ER course is designed to help candidates and personnel who have been identified by their employer as ready to be formally assessed in the role of Offshore Installation Manager (OIM), Deputy for OIM, or Emergency Deputy for OIM during emergency situations. This preparation course allows participants to become familiar with the types of scenarios they may encounter, the simulator model that will be used, and the layout and facilities of the Emergency Control Centre. This ensures that the assessment process for the CRO-ER runs as smoothly as possible.
The FMTC Preparation for CRO-ER course is a direct support to the OPITO CRO-ER Product (7025). For those looking for detailed content and objectives, or to book the formal assessment, please refer to the OPITO CRO-ER (9004) course page.

There is no official medical entry requirement for the preparation, but participants must be capable of fully engaging in potentially physically demanding and stressful activities, and will be required to sign a Medical Declaration form.
