Our OPITO T-HUET with CA-EBS (5194) course is designed for individuals who are new or returning to the energy industry and require offshore safety and emergency response training for work in tropical environments. This training is essential for anyone traveling to and from offshore installations and vessels by helicopter, providing the necessary skills and knowledge to manage pre-flight and in-flight safety requirements. The course places a strong emphasis on equipping participants with the ability to respond effectively in helicopter emergencies, particularly focusing on underwater escape techniques following a ditching scenario and essential sea survival skills.
Participants will learn to use safety equipment and follow established procedures in simulated emergency situations, ensuring they are prepared for real-life incidents. The training also covers vital sea survival techniques, helping learners build confidence and competence in emergency response. Upon successful completion, participants will receive certification that is valid for four years. It is important to note that if a previous certificate is due to expire within 90 days before the course enrolment date, the new certificate’s expiry date will align with the previous one unless otherwise directed by the Duty Holder, Asset Owner, or Operator.
