Our GWO Working at Height + R-Alf training is designed for professionals working or planning to work in the wind energy sector, particularly those involved in maintenance, installation, or any tasks that require working at height. This combined course provides comprehensive instruction on safe practices for working at heights within wind turbine environments, with a special focus on rescue techniques using the R-Alf device. The training covers both theoretical aspects such as hazard identification and risk assessment, as well as hands-on practical exercises with personal protective equipment and rescue devices.
Participants will gain essential knowledge and skills to ensure their safety and the safety of their colleagues while working at height. The course includes the GWO Working at Height module, which is globally recognized and ensures compliance with industry safety standards. Additionally, the R-Alf module offers specialized training in controlled descent and rescue operations, although it is important to note that the R-Alf is an additional module and not GWO approved.
Upon successful completion, participants receive certification that is typically valid for two years, after which refresher training is required to maintain competency. This training is ideal for those seeking to enhance their practical skills in using PPE and rescue equipment, improve workplace safety, and meet legal requirements for working at heights in the wind industry.
