Our GWO Basic Safety Training Refresher Onshore (E-learning + Practical) is designed for professionals working in the onshore wind industry who need to renew their GWO certification every two years. This blended learning course allows participants to complete the theoretical modules at their own pace online, followed by just 2 days of practical training at our center. This format saves valuable time compared to the traditional classroom-only course, while ensuring the same high standard of safety training and certification.
The refresher program covers all essential safety aspects for onshore wind turbine environments. Delegates will complete the e-learning modules for Manual Handling and Fire Awareness, while the Working at Heights and First Aid modules are delivered through practical exercises at our training center. Please note, there is no e-learning component for the Working at Heights and First Aid refreshers, as these are entirely practical. Access to the e-learning platform is provided up to four weeks before your chosen practical day, and if you book within this period, you will receive immediate access. The e-learning portion takes approximately four hours to complete and must be finished before attending the practical sessions.
Upon successful completion of both the online and practical components, participants receive the same certificate as the GWO Basic Safety Training Refresher Onshore without e-learning. This certificate is valid for two years and is recognized throughout the wind industry. The course is suitable for anyone who already holds a valid GWO Basic Safety Training certificate and requires a refresher. For more information about the initial training, see GWO Basic Safety Training Onshore with E-learning. Our streamlined process ensures you can easily select your practical day, complete the theory at your convenience, and maintain compliance with industry safety standards.
