Our Water Survival (non-HUET) course is designed to equip delegates with essential knowledge and practical skills for surviving in offshore environments. The training focuses on the unique challenges associated with helicopter and boat travel, ensuring that participants are prepared for emergencies that may occur while working offshore. Through a combination of theoretical instruction and hands-on exercises, delegates gain a comprehensive understanding of water survival techniques and safety protocols.
The Water Survival (non-HUET) course provides participants with a solid foundation in general helicopter and boat travel safety. Delegates learn how to respond effectively to emergencies, including platform abandonment and life raft operations. The course also covers the use of personal flotation devices, cold water physiology, and the operation of location aids. Upon completion, delegates will be able to demonstrate their survival skills during practical assessments and show their understanding through written examinations.
This course is ideal for those working in offshore environments who require practical water survival training but do not need Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET). All content is delivered by experienced instructors in a controlled environment to ensure maximum safety and learning effectiveness.
