STCW Personal Survival Techniques Refresher (PST-R)

The STCW Personal Survival Techniques Refresher (PST-R) course is designed to update and reinforce the essential skills and knowledge required for seafarers to survive maritime emergencies. This refresher module is a vital part of the STCW Basic Safety Training and is specifically tailored for individuals who are designated as crew members for lifeboats or have safety or pollution-prevention duties on board vessels over 24 meters. The course ensures that seafarers remain competent in personal survival techniques in accordance with the requirements set out in table A-VI/1-1 of the STCW Code.
