Safety-Related Work Practices: Grasp essential definitions, such as arc flash hazard, boundaries like limited approach and restricted approach, de-energized states, and the concept of an electrically safe work condition. Explore fault currents, incident energy analysis, nominal voltage, and the roles of qualified personnel.
Electrical Safety Program: Learn about the principles and controls of an electrical safety program. Understand procedures, risk assessment, and the hierarchy of risk control methods. Dive into human error, awareness, administrative controls, personal protective equipment (PPE), and the importance of job safety planning.
