Fall Protection w/ Rescue Planning

This OSHA Fall protection user training course helps the delegates recognize the hazards of falling and the steps required to minimize these hazards. This 8 hours training course gives added reinforcement for the need to have proven safe operating procedures (including the need for site specific policies, i.e. fall rescue plan etc.) and the necessary equipment to accomplish a safe and efficient operation. The course also exposes delegates to new equipment technology and equipment options for different situations that may be encountered on the job.

There are four levels of fall protection training–awareness, authorized-user, competent person, and qualified-person training.
This fall protection user training course (authorized-user) is the second level. A best practice to keep employees safe and comply with OSHA is to have any worker exposed to fall hazards undergo this fall protection user training. This training is specialized for the type of job and specific fall hazards employees will be exposed to.

After successfully completion of the fall protection user training course, the delegate will be able to properly use fall protective equipment and be able to assist with the rescue of a colleague.
